    If you simply want to see manatees, head over to its backdoor - manatees are usually right there, munching on grass. You can enter and pay $1 for a volunteer to let you touch critters in a touch pool.

    Absolutely fun inside and out if you like marine life, my family got a big kick out of the puffer fish!

    On our visit we didn't see any manatees. It wasn't worth the detour. The Apollo Beach manatee viewing station is much better.
