Great service, excellent restaurant selection is walking distance. Quiet and lower rates on the weekends.

Always carry an Airport Express on your travels. Great at all these 1980's hotels who won't give you wi-fi in the room. Plug it into the wired connection and hey presto, wireless hotspot :)

Just came from ramada dockland, with free wifi. Marriott, £15 per day for wifi in the room.

Use only licenced black cab, do net let concierge to put you in expensive cars, they charge double.
