One of the most famous waterfalls of Iceland. It is very picturesque and therefore its photo can be found in many books and calendars. It was a waypoint during the first leg of The Amazing Race 6.

Don't go too close to the sea, especially not if you are going to turn away from it because then you won't see the big waves coming that will leave you wet for the rest of your trip!
A quiant little town. Locals are hospitable and there is a great sense of community here. Try staying in the cabins by the lake (book at the hotel), go golfing in the midnight sun ir whale watching.
