If your a film fanatic go here, you get to see the sets for the hundreds of films and go on some really good 3D roller-coasters and rides. just a thrill seeker? I would suggest somewhere else.
Don't buy the front of the line pass if you are going solo. Solo rider has their own line and it's fast. Also, right now is buy one at normal price and get an annual pass upgrade free for 2014!
If you can afford....get the vip tour, it's totally worth every penny!
Another option is to take the Metro red line to the Hollywood & Highland station. From there, either walk (less than a mile) or hop a bus. Cheap, and you'll get out faster. Stack parking sucks.
