Gizem TabakМарт 28, 2015Mixed gyro tastes good. White sauce is a must but hot sauce is terrible although I had just 5 drops. Either the sauce or the food itself made my stomach hurt all night.
Go to the one on W 53rd & 7th. There is rarely any line and if there is the line is much shorter than both 53rd & 6th locations.
Combo over rice is so good especially for that price!

YUM! From LA here but this is a must-visit food cart each time I visit! Get the mixed platter and drench it in that delicious white sauce!
Hands down the best food cart in NY. You'll know the place by the long lines.

LANМарт 27, 2011THE BEST halal cart in the city. especially after a night of clubbing and when intoxicated. The line WILL be long, even 3am in morning, but it moves.
If you have to take it to go, pour 1 red sauce into 1 white sauce container, shake it up and I promise you, the proportion will always be perfect

If the main cart has a long line, the halal guys cart across the street and on 53rd and 7th are normally quicker
During the day time hours they have their carts on the opposite street and one on 53rd and 7th which I got to. Completely empty during the day.
MaulikИюнь 27, 2010Absolutely amazing. Esp when you're starving at 4am. Talk your cabbie into ordering ahead and you won't have to wait in line. White sauce rocks but the red sauce is lethal. Damn hot.
The BEST halal food NYC has to offer. Load up on the white sauce. You won't regret it.
