The refurb is done, it is much more airy and still the same great atmosphere, mix of people and great drinks and food.

More of a dinner place now than a lunch one.- Busy pub with outside seating, currently being redone but previously the restaurant had the best roast in the area.

There was a Geordie barman who worked there. Incredibly handsome. Shame he left best bartender in London some say. And they'd be right to say that.

Long curved communal seats under the window, excellent place to start up a conversation with randoms.
