Walk across the hotel to the next street. There is a dodgy looking alley way includes a Japanese Yakitori bar which has cheap local beers at 10 Yuan per 500ml and awesome food.

Not really great compared to the others in her hotel chain. But hey, it's Peninsula! It's already an icon in Beijing.
They change the soap bar daily! Sweet.
