Ghent's nicest train station, if you've got the chance you should plant your butt on one of the benches on the square in front of the station and enjoy the view ;)
Go inside the church, it has an art gallery too. In summer there are concerts, fairs and events on the plaza. Leonard Cohen and Prince once performed here!
Almost every faculty has his own big "Openingsfuif" or sometimes a 2nd big party. Go to at least one of them. It's very cheap beer!
Happy hours on monday and tuesday 00.00 - 01.00! Wednesday toxic night €3,5 for a cocktail. Thursday bottle night €29 for a bottle!
Go for a walk. Go. And if you're local, why not drop by the animal shelter and take a dog for a walk?
Free entrance if you're from Ghent, just show your passport at the entrance! It's worth a visit.
24/7 - je kan hier letterlijk *altijd* terecht. Als de rest van Gent gesloten is, kan je toch nog eten in 't Hoekske.
You can live here: you have drinks, sports (like bowl, darts, pool) and they are open from 10am till 3am.
