Bree: Food is not that great, a bit pricey for Texas but the views of the lake are epic.
Bree: The water is FREEZING (year round) great place to chill and people watch though. If its warm...
Bree: There's a ton of these around the city so find the closest one to you and nurse your hangover w their breakfast tacos
Bree: This is Rainey street. Head to this bar then you can hop around. This area is really austin-ish and fun. Must go to Rainey.
Bree: Check out this area-- south congress. Shops/restaurants and a good spot to walk over the river... at sunset you can watch the bats fly out from under the river overpass (smells like absolute shit but pretty cool)
Bree: This will get you to the heart of "dirty 6th". College area. This bar has super cheap liquor pitchers and is very divey. Check out Maggie maes and the blind pig while you're here as well. End your night on dirty... its more impressive when you're blackout
Bree: Campus breakfast spot. Sometimes there's a line... if its over 30 min its not worth it. If you're solo just eat at the counter. GREAT pancakes. Open 24 hours if you need drunk food. Get the Kerbey queso-- life changing
Bree: Food trucks are a big thing in Austin if you want to check that scene out. I think Via might be in this one. Really good pizza from Detroit.
Bree: Because you need to see what good boots look like :). This is on South Congress... stop in when you're walking around down there.
Bree: This is West 6th street. Post college scene (more so than Dirty 6th)-- you can pop around this street as well for a good bar scene. Little woodrows is an old staple, concrete cowboy has a good roof, Kung Fu is popular as well.
Bree: this is my fav bar recently. Awesome vibes... good jams, this area (red river) has some good stuff as well. I think some nights its more gay than others but 100% unclear which nights those are. Worth checking out.
Bree: My fav mexican spot. Josies plate is the shitttttt if you like cheese hah :)
