There're a lot of trains to see, a bunch of children's activities, decent food in the 2 restaurants, and a huge selection of gifts. There's very little English but the Shinkansen is fully in English.
If you love trains, this is the place for you to visit at least one. They renovated the restaurant on the 2nd floor, but I personally like the previous one better since it was more wallet friendly.
Absolutely fantastic place. Great for kids and adults. Careful on the age restrictions: elementary school age for driving mini trains; junior high for the simulators. Very little English available.
Amazing real old stream locomotive and railcars of Japan. The 1st Gen Shinkansen is showed here. The best part is Stream locomotive's blowing of the whistle.
