Probably the best and most authentic Chinese I’ve had outside of China. Definitely worth the long wait to be seated. If only Chinese food in Europe tasted like this.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Boston. Food is great but the quarters are cramped and the place is almost always busy. Be ready to wait for a table.
Scallion pancakes have a great balance of crunch to chew and came out piping hot. The pork buns had too high a bun to filling ratio as did the dumplings. Very filling but not as satisfying as I hoped.
"Groups of expectant diners huddle outside this Chinatown gem, waiting patiently to slurp through a steamer’s worth of soup dumplings. Other musts include scallion pancakes and Sichuan fish."
This restaurant's unassuming façade does not do justice to the delicous food you'll find inside. Try the pan-fried little soup dumplings; just make sure you bite off the tops and let the steam out! \nПодробнее
For a classic winter meal, try Gourmet Dumpling House's mini steamed buns. Also known as xiao long bao or soup dumplings, the soup is contained inside the dumpling. \nПодробнее
People seem to love this place so I had very high expectations. The Pork & Cabbage Dumplings are very average. The Soup Dumplings are very flavorful. But the skin of both dumplings are way too thick.
pork soup dumplings are good and the scallion pancakes are incredible!! servers were rude, but understandably (v busy and hectic, but food still came quickly)
