The views over Wadi Rum are amazing on their own. Each November over 100 hot air balloon enthusiasts gather from around the world to show off an amazing variety of balloons in every shape and color.

If you want to enter Wadi Rum by car, a 4x4 is highly recommended. Ask the local guys for a suitable place to stay overt night. There is an official desert camp but you can also bring your own tents.

Eid took us in for a full day. The camel and jeep tours were pretty cool, family style dinner was great, we slept in their tent under the most amazing sky full of stars. Sunrise was also amazing.

Best trip ever made. Made me feel really small. Loved the stars at night and the silence of the dessert. Should be on your bucketlist!

Even if you don't like to sleep out in the rough, it's impossible not to be impressed with the sight of Wadi Rum. It is simply miles of untouched landscape with mountains rising out of the sand.

Spend a night under the stars at a Bedouin camp, you won't forget it! But bring playing cards cause there is not a lot to do after sunset.
