Katie NugentАвгуст 6, 2012Very convenient to get to. Buy books and food before you get in, there is just a "cash only" food counter. Oh, and basically no outlets.
Once you pass through security the only food option is a little convenance store.
The Cloud Cafe snack bar inside security is cash only... Be prepared!

Long term parking is steep. Park downtown and catch a cab. Or try out Stewart Newburgh airport. Fewer flights but much less hassle and cost.
Make sure you are there extra early if you fly Jetblue. They tend to leave before scheduled departure time.

Amber BarkleyИюль 19, 2012You can use any kiosk to check in for any airline...Beware: TSA with a big 'tude in the house- The cell phone waiting lot has a flight information screen, you'll have up to the minute information while you wait.
Easiest airport to get to! About 5 minutes to check in and get through security.
Great alternative to flying out of LGA or JFK. Small airport, short lines and few delays
Park on the lower level of the garage. It's the same level as the ticketing counters.
For cheapest parking, use Purchase Park 2 Fly. Easy to use and save a lot. www.PP2F.org

Rates went up for private pilots, but SO convenient!
Faster getting in and out of this airport but I agree tsa not too friendly!

Only accept cash for food once you're through security. The ATM is outside security so get cash first if you need it.

Ivey JenningsИюль 23, 2011Tiny, be aware of long, unorganized, slow security. However, if your plane is boarding they move you to front of security line. Also- carry on -- one baggage claim and it usually takes 40 minutes...

Go upstairs to wait. Go through security only to go directly to your open gate.

Easy trip from Ridgefield, CT. -Parking can be questionable.

Easy airport but VERY crowded. Give yourself plenty of time to check in.
