Cute little place, good breaky sandwiches and Awesome acai bowl (texture is sorbet-like, not at all watery, which I love!). The place is really small; so, finding a table might be the only challenge.

Start at the southern tip of Griffith Park and walk through the lovely Fern Dell trail. Arrive and "eat pie in the forest like a king". It's not the food that's special, it's the surrounds.
Awesome food. Large choice of dishes. The staff knows his business. Keep some place for the desserts, they are absolutely unbelievable. Especially "I am Awakening". Best cake ever.
Prices are a little bit high for what you get but easily one of the best eats off to the side of the Pier. I normally go for the coconut fried chicken but their rice and plantains are superb as well.
