Good, but fairly steep trail up to view both sides if the island. Beautiful in spring with wildflowers- just go early to beat the sun.
Good place to relax. Beer is ok, pizza could be better, but after a long hike or day at the beach it hits the spot.
No frills, but fresh fish restaurant- go early as they don’t take reservations. Sea bass is good.
Good playground for kids - however starting at 4pm it feels like you should need reservations for the swings it gets so crowded.

Love this place. Steeped in history and a cozy place to stop between SB and the valley. Venison burger and chili are decent options but you really are here for the atmosphere.
Good interesting food and a very welcome addition to the SB dinning scene. The uni biryani and lamb curry are standouts. Nice outside seating as well.
Nice small family run winery with decent variety. The Touriga is the odd standout however. Worth a stop among the other flashier players on the road.
Strange little winery with some very strange wine. Some good, some horrible, but worth a stop. The Milan Ruz is highly drinkable.
Surprisingly good variety here. The moscato seco is intriguing and the Dos Oakes Sangiovese is delicious. Friendly staff, bocce, and a giant plastic dog.
Beautiful old house on Main Street. Nice garden to sit and sip in. The Barbera is pretty killer. Great for kids to run around.
Great place for breakfast- Meyer Lemmon Waffles and Bunker Hill with biscuits are great choices. Wish they did a regular dinner service!!!
Good solid “fancy” meal - probably the best higher end dining in the area. Not necessarily an outstanding meal but decent. Lamb shank and duck confit are good choices.
Great place to pick up tasty sandwiches on you to wine taste. Homemade chips are delicious- only downside is coffee comes from a machine and not great.

Small but interesting state park with ancient history and beautiful nature. Combine the south and north loop for a good short hike.

Best winery and wine in the area. Viognier, ‘12 Syrah and Easton Zinfandel are the standouts. Nice staff and property.
Neat and well preserved mining site with cool tall tower. You don’t need to take a tour you can just walk around - knowledge docents will find you and tell you more than you want to know.
Friendly tasting room at the end of the main drag. The Shake Ridge Red bled is good and worth a taste.
Wine is ok - nothing really amazing, but surprisingly solid. staff is very friendly and has great food recommendations for the area.
