Scott Kingsbury: We like it! Not Five-Star but they do not claim to be. Breakfast buffet good, Chinese restaurant good... very close to the things you need to see in Beijing...TWO Starbucks within walking-distance!!

Ana Loftus: Make sure to plan your visit since all temples inside close their doors at 5 pm. However, you can walk around til 8 pm. There are beautiful spots to watch the sunset. Don’t buy the map! Not worth it.

Olly Stedall: The Temple of Heaven is not one building but actually a complex of buildings including the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (pictured), The Imperial Vault of Heaven and the Circular Mound Altar.

Niclas Skold: One of the must see places in Beijing. Most beautiful in late afternoon with the warm sunset light. Can be a bit crowded but still worth a visit.

GiulyGinevraB.: This place is know for it's colorful dumplings, very delicious but they have also some typical Chinese dish like eggplant or spicy bean. Full of foreign people.

Simon Opsomer: After your visit to the Forbidden City, exit at the north gate and visit JingShan Park just across the street. The views on top of the hill are fantastic and the entrance fee is only 2 RMB.

K.J. Lin: This is the former "Peking University" before the university system was set up in China. It was where people of all types tested into to move up in social ranking.

JK: Largest hall within the Forbidden City

Paul Low: The Dumpling are a must try here ! They are quite cheap and delicious (8 yuan for 5 Dumpling). Don't hesitate to order a lot and ask for take away.

Buford Douglas: Est. 1416, this traditional Peking duck restaurant, which started as a small workshop that sold fowl, is the oldest in Beijing. The duck is cooked using the 焖炉 method, making it juicier and crispier.

Larry Yinlong Zhao: Popular spot for postcard photos

Laarni Moreno: They take reservations at 630 and 830 pm, which gets you prime seating around the koi pond, with a great view of the "roasting Center". You can go in, feel the heat, and take awesome pictures!

Sienna P-C: Best place in Beijing for food shopping! Great produce, fresh meat and seafood, and even really cheap tofu.

Ilya Kuznetsov: Roast duck was amazing! This place has made my trip to Beijing an amazing experience! Absolutely recommended!!

Defeng Bob NIU: Overall, it's a good restaurant. Atmospheric environment and elegant decoration. Cantonese cuisine is the main dish with good quality. Roast duck is perfect especially.

JK: This is the resting place for the emperor before he walks to Hall of Supreme Harmony

Sofya: It's about 30minutes waiting for the duck. For sure, it's the best budget duck you can get in Beijing. Personally I like Dadong more

Moon Louie: Plan to spend a day here (Forbidden City). Need a lot of time to look around.

joel danielson: An obvious stop for anyone interested in Beijing's art scene. 751 D-Park behind (and accessible via) 798 features very bauhaus factory design, and is home to the INTRO electronic festival each May.

Ivan Garin: Probably the biggest square in the world. Security procedures and massive queues make it quite a tiring experience.

Paul Gabion: Places nearby: Tiananmen Square, For idden City, and NPCA.

Chris: Nice restaurant street. Be warned that it mostly consists of Hot Pot, Spicy food, and Crayfish though.

Dave Mc: The lake is pretty fun, but also crowded with pretty aggressive pedicab drivers that hunt you incessantly. Probably better at night with all the bars lining the lake. 🍻

Simple Discoveries: A great place to view the wall without the dense crowds, however we suspect it will soon be just as crowded as the closer section. Hike all the way to the end (Gate 23) - it's worth it!

Joe Huang: mutton is cool ,BTW, the location is wrong

Pinzhang Huang: The best Chinese beef noodle you can have in Beijing.

Huaisi Cen: Authentic Sichuan food with great price. Anytime I am thinking about spicy food, I will think about this restaurant.

Adrian Alva: Huge and welcoming station. 3 ticket offices with English speaking crew. No free wifi and be sure to run to the oficial taxi line that cues get looong. Forget about subway, taxis are cheap as heck.

Beata Yang: Free on the first Saturday of every month.

Emily Pei: UCCA opens 7days a week，it's great place to visit during National holiday.

JK: Home of emperors for almost 500 years.

Zeyi Lee: Hard to get a texi.

Katy: Thats one of my fav temples in Beijing. If you can come here during the week. And you cant bring your own incense anymore. But you will get it for free. (After you pay 25RMB for entrance)

Paul Gabion: This subway station in line 4 can be another entry pt going to Summer Palace (exit C2). Just walk an add'l 500m to go there.
