We love this dog friendly place. They welcome our four legged family with open arms and dog bones. Vero Beach is beautiful and this is the place to stay.

From the higher floors, gawk through the windows at the view up State Street. Hardly the highest view in the city, but a lively one.

The rooms at best-kept-secret 70 Park Avenue aren’t huge but they’re extremely smart (and a “romance sommelier” will swish them up even more upon request).

Hip, well-located hotel. Some rooms oddly configured. Rooms overlooking Hillcrest are large but can be bright and noisy. Fewer amenities than the Palomar but great for short, friendly/local stays!
Be sure and say hi to Kora, director of pet relations, she's adorable and makes the visit more memorable.
Be sure to valet. Cheaper than surrounding parking garages not to mention very nice and handsome valet staff.

LOVE the Turkey Creek dog trail. Nice 3 mile hike, leash free, with lots of chances for the pups to play in the water (when we're not in a total drought).
Beware the live music, if eating ribs while watching a singer-songwriter doesn't appeal to you, request for the back room.
It's been around for 30yrs. so I forget about it, but love it! You must try the Lobster Ravioli. They also have a great Sunday brunch.
If you are going to hike one mountain, go for Beehive. It is one of the most unique hikes you will ever do and it is right next to Sand Beach
Only 'off leash' area on MDI. Great for a walk with no dog, too. Carriage roads, woods and pond. Not fenced in. Bring a leash because sometimes there are horses!
