- Christian BaezЯнварь 12, 2011Great costumer service!! Their accents are really cute, and have a wide variety of teas! I got their white flower and it was just perfect! :)
- Victoria MazzukiОктябрь 15, 2016Truly authentic. Small, but relatively inexpensive for a la carte items!
- Karishma Reddy KhanМай 14, 2018Their afternoon tea set is really good! But if they've run out of it don't bother to stay. Rest of the food is average, very overpriced and staff is definitely on the ruder side.
- YC OАпрель 30, 2013Try the Eton Mess (crumbled meringues with whipped cream and berries) for a taste of British summer!
- Lee SimpsonЯнварь 25, 2017If you're looking for a proper English breakfast, then this is the spot. However, it's super expensive, tiny and the staff are super rude.
- Claire RivkinИюнь 4, 2018Very friendly staff and cute vibe but disappointed by the scones and clotted cream - very average
- Caitlin ClementsФевраль 10, 2013Can be pricey, but the tea and 2 scones with clotted cream is the way to go!
- Tea, custard and savory pies? Everything I love about tea time.
- Patrice PollackДекабрь 27, 2011Best earl grey tea in the city. If you're from England and feeling homesick, this is the perfect spot.
- Tea for one is massive. Be hungry if you plan on taking down one of these babies solo.
- On a rainy Sunday, go there solo before 12:30pm. Order The Full Monty (with beans). Try their house blend Earl Grey. Watch the rain not bother you as much.
- Things to try: chicken pot pie, treacle pudding, sparkling Ribena, strawberry cupcake, and afternoon tea for two!
- Kym P.Май 24, 2011Get the chicken salad finger sandwich, sticky toffee pudding, or seville orange iced tea. All lovely.
- Aiden KirchnerСентябрь 13, 2011Best place in New York for tea & crumpets, bangers & mash, finger sandwiches, and scrumptious puddings.
- Julia MesmeriИюль 16, 2015You can't be seated unless the whole party arrives - even if it's 3 of you waiting for one more. Also, no tea unless you order a minimum $ of food. Too many rules, not enough sympathy. Not worth it.
- Michie BИюнь 7, 2015I bought some British grocery from Tea and sympathy for my Mom and she loved it!
- Raj S.Ноябрь 12, 2011Quaint and small. Great place to take a date or settle down after some errands.
- Vanessa GatlinДекабрь 10, 2013Full English breakfast served Saturday and Sunday only. Tea in the afternoons. Heaven always.
- A NYC must. Best Shepherds Pie outside of the UK.
- Katie SchlossОктябрь 18, 2012Tea & Sympathy's Rose Tea & a walk down Jane Street is the perfect way to start the day!
- KristineИюнь 18, 2011I love the coronation chicken! And be sure to have tea and scones. Yum, clotted cream!
- Cyrus BhathawallaМарт 31, 2018Extremely slow and inattentive service, average food at best (stale bread), and an unadvertised credit card fee - pathetic
- Christina RaАпрель 5, 2010My favorite breakfast in the city (available on weekends only). Scones & clotted cream... YUM.
- order the treacle tart with custard cream! [totally a dish to share though]
- We go to Tea & Sympathy every Sunday for breakfast. Nicky is the best and you can't beat the bacon.
- James BleekФевраль 10, 2018This place is disgusting! I had a soup last night and found a roach in it. I told the waitress (red hair, heavy set, in the 50's) and didn't look shocked. The Health Dept needs to do its job.
- Amy CaoМай 1, 2011Try the Scones - Happy Royal Wedding Weekend! On a tea crawl with The Meaning of Tea.
