EaterНоябрь 6, 2013One of the original sushi bars in America, this popular Little Tokyo destination still makes very good sashimi and sushi. The yellowtail, salmon, live shrimp, and toro are especially well done here.
One of the best all around meals I've ever had and somehow also one of the most reasonable. Got the 10 pc nigiri w/ tuna roll and the toro and everything couldn't have been fresher and more delicious.
David ChuiОктябрь 7, 2014been to many sushi place and this is the first that use wasabi grounded from raw wasabi. go figure how legit this place is. try the engawa nigiri. it's not on the menu, so ask for it.- Everyone knows already that this place is amazing. Sit at the bar, order the sweet shrimp, drink loads of sake!

great food, cozy atmosphere and nice staff! try the unagi bowl or chirashi (comes with free small plates)

Say hi to Keishu at the door, he's dope! Also, get the sushi chefs drunk, they love it.
